"If you can’t beat them, join them" --------- I can't believe, there is a saying like this....
It might have made some sense in the context in which it could have been coined but when read today, this seems pretty misleading...
What you do/think/believe doesn't require approvals as long as it made sense to you in your complete conscious...
People will not like it at times but then even 'vanilla' isn't everyone's first choice, right?
Different people coming from different walks of life, facing different hurdles, may not understand your stand, that doesn't imply you surrender or cave to have a company at the cost of your belief system...
The right ones will understand your takes, and they will adore you for true being...
The real question lies, 'whether you believe in your actions and willing to face the consequences too...'
Coz no matter, if you are Right or Left, (I am deliberately not using "Wrong" coz nobody in their full conscious will willfully do "wrong"------------- again this is my personal belief and can be "Left" and not "Right")
So the whole point is what turn you take, each road has it's own ups and downs and beats and bumps... with the turn, you must welcome them too...
But just to have some acquaintance, you should not loose "you", coz 'you' matter more to you than you would ever do to anyone else...'
Fear of disappointing others is bearable.... but if you end up disappointing YOU, you will feel lot more broke than ever....
