Why do I lose interest even in things I loved?

Well, failure often does that to many...

We see someone doing something ------------- play some sport, dance, sing, read, write, cook, work out, yoga, trekking, hiking, playing musical instrument, learning a new language or some techie stuff etc..... and we get inclined towards doing it ourselves...

In that very moment of inclination, we make impulse commitment to do it everyday/ on alternate days/ twice a week or alike....

That commitment at first, makes us real happy... doing something wanted since so long that all our insta reels and facebook feeds trying to push us towards it...

Way to joy begins, as you decide to actually walk on the path of your interest instead of just surfing through it...

At that moment, you are ahead of millions sitting on their sofa doing nothing but swipe up----swipe up---swipe up endless times... give yourself some credit to get up and DO THINGS with eyes off screen...

Well, you carry the expectation in mind to hit the core in very first bow...๐ŸŽฏ but soon enough you realize that charming video is not being your reality any time soon..

Now the real question is, do you have that persistency in effort and patience, to give it another best shot just to find out success isn't served like a piece of cake...?

In face, it is something you have to work real hard to make it appear in your plate...
Like, going to store to collect fine ingredients, refine them before use, add the exact portions to the pot and --------- mix mix mix---------- add more ingredients ---------- whisk whisk whisk

Make the perfect consistency of batter and put it aside waiting for its turn...

Keep the pan on flame to achieve that perfect temperature...

Meanwhile, Oil the pot, make it non-sticky with raw floor...

Then pour the batter and put it in pan....
Let it bake --------set the clock
Now wait --------- wait and wait a little long....... no playing pee-ka-boo with it till the clock hits zero..
If you miss the track of time ---------- Enjoy the over burn cake baked with over confidence...
If you didn't give it enough time to cook ----------- Enjoy half caked one like your half preparedness...

Even when the bake time was absolutely perfect, due to some miss or excess, the cake would either be jiggly or saggy or rocky-hard or well-something-is-not-right types...

Please understand, "Getting that right color, right texture, right aroma, right taste isn't happening on first trial..."

Giving another and yet another try with revised tact and techniques and proper preparation and bake time over and over and over again is not everyone's capability....

Some may give up, not on very first but in couple of trials or later....

The one who fought with their each "give-up-damn-it-not-your-piece-of-cake" instinct will finally be enjoying that "Damn-I-did-it" cake

Some would stop exploring right their and follow that one recipe for eternity of their life...

Some extraordinary ones would now turn to making the perfect frosting, and other flavors and creating their very own style in it...

And they are the ones popping in your insta and FB feeds making it look effortless...

Seeing their effortless faces makes you think it's easy...... what you don't see is doing it on 100th time is easy, first couple of batches are most likely to blow in your face....

Then saying I lost interest and giving up is easy, while keep trying half heartedly is not any better...

Instead of Giving up if you choose --------- Giving the same energy level of Day-1, each day even after batches of spoiled cakes piling up on your kitchen top is the only way to enjoy that my-very-own-perfect-piece-of cake...
